One of Vermont's major attractions in spring is maple sugaring season.
There are three working sugarhouses within walking distances.
For those who enjoy life outdoors, activities include hiking, biking,fishing, horseback riding, and
boating on the region's many beautiful lakes. There are also local outdoor
concerts, and other events at the historic Haskell Opera House.
Fall is foliage season, when trees change from their usual shades of
green to a spectacular range of colors, from bright yellow to vivid red. Many summer activities continue, with the added county fairs,
